We are happy to announce that our fire district has 7 new EMTs. (Emergency Medical Technicians). We encourage all firefighters to take the 170+ hour class.

It is with great pride that we announce that Dan Martin, Teri Martin, Allen Koranda, Jon Moe, Brian Gillis, Christine Moran, and Todd Ivanhoe have completed the Emergency Medical Technician class at Bellingham Technical College.

On behalf of the fire district and the community, we thank all of you for putting that extra time to learn skills that will help our community. We also appreciate your families for supporting your efforts to be the best firefighter/EMS person you can be.

Because 80% of our responses are EMS (emergency medical system) dispatches, having EMTs at each station is very important, especially in our rural setting.
