Whatcom County Fire District #14 says good-by to Fire Commissioner, Harlan Kelley.
Whatcom County Fire District #14 recently announced the retirement of Fire Commissioner Harlan Kelley. Harlan has served as a fire commissioner with our fire district for 42 years. During that time, the fire department has seen many changes and growth. Harlan was instrumental in helping our fire district get new equipment and buildings and meeting the challenges of providing a valuable service to the community. We will miss him at our monthly meetings.
New Commissioner RobRoy Graham
RobRoy Graham has generously agreed to fill the position that Harlan left. RobRoy has 21 years experience as a volunteer firefighter with our fire district. He also owns a laminating business. We feel RobRoy will be a good replacement and bring some valuable experience to our fire district.
